About us
Our vision and mission
Our vision is to aspire to facilitate and improve graft-versus-host disease (GvHD) knowledge worldwide and develop community-based initiatives to overcome current and future challenges. Our mission is to drive education and awareness of GvHD globally through community collaborations, while continuing to raise awareness of the resources and support currently available.
Our strategy
Know GvHD is an educational platform filled with helpful resources to ensure our audience is informed about GvHD.
Through digital platforms, educational programs, and community outreach, we aim to bridge knowledge gaps and ensure that patients and caregivers have access to the latest information and best practices in GvHD management. We believe that by working together and sharing expertise, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by GvHD.
We partner with patient advocates, societies, and members of our established GvHD Hub Steering Committee (our ambassadors) to ensure the education we provide incorporates the patient voice and guidance from healthcare professionals, which equips it to be as impactful as possible.
The format of the education includes disease information, patient stories, videos, and social media.

Our ambassador group
We have a dedicated and highly experienced global ambassador group who meet regularly to steer and guide the initiative. This ambassador group consists of patients and caregivers, patient advocates, healthcare professionals, and industry representatives. Their responsibility is to propose awareness initiatives, provide concepts for support and education resources, share their experiences and learnings from advocacy heritage, and endorse materials before circulation among the GvHD community.
